Barker Shoes Ltd. is proud to announce our latest good news story. Our newly launched website has gained acknowledgement in the Northamptonshire Business Awards for the second continuous year. Held on 5 September 2019, at the Park Inn Northampton, Barker Shoes walked away with the Northamptonshire Chamber of Commerce Awards 2019, E-Commerce Business of the Year.
This award recognises the strength and creativity of Britain’s e-commerce businesses in Northamptonshire as well as the resilience required for the fast-paced nature of doing business online.
The judges announced the award went to the business that delivered an outstanding online customer journey, demonstrating responsiveness to customers’ needs, with the business results and growth to match. The judges said, “winning entrant stood out from the crowd, taking user experience, design, digital marketing and an exceptional end-to-end purchasing experience to the next level”.
This Award is extremely important to Barker Shoes – because as a business we recognise that our customers are king and we strive to give them the very best in customer service. Therefore to be recognised in this way as the ‘best of the best’ in the category, E-commerce Business of the Year, is something we hold close to our hearts as it means so much.
